The MeltView® PIXI is a compact, ruggedized welding camera that provides a stunning high resolution image of welding. Simple to operate and highly configurable, the MeltView® PIXI is employed as close as 2" (51 mm) from the weld and at temperatures up to 400°C (752°F).

  • Rich monochrome or color image of GTAW, PAW, LBW, SAW
  • Automatic switching between arc-on and arc-off modes
  • Small size (30Ø mm) includes cooling channels and lighting
  • Models with 45° and 90° optics available
  • Camera displays directly to monitor, no computer or software
  • Adjustable dual crosshairs 
  • Requires a MeltView® camera controller
  • Optional frame grabber or DVR for recording video
  • Standard X-coded or F-style cable; other transmission systems available (wireless, fiber, dual cable)

PIXI Camera Review

Welding remote and in environmentally challenging conditions is very difficult. In our welding industry, the welding operator is typically “hands-off” from the weld location and relies on camera images to perform the welding task. The operator must make critical decisions and be able to see “Real Time” the arc puddle and all characteristics of the weld.
