Thermal Welding Camera

MeltView® HT25 SWIR camera

MeltView® HT25 Thermal Imaging Camera

Shown here is the MeltView® HT25 welding camera.

The HT25 is a thermal imaging camera for weld monitoring. The camera captures SWIR wavelengths, simultaneously revealing both the behavior of the weld puddle and the surrounding heat affected zone. The heat flow in the substrate is an important tool for identifying fusion faults not visible in the final, cooled weld.

The HT25 can be setup for GTAW, GMAW, PAW and LBW. The camera has high frame rates (up to 240, model dependent) as well as a global shutter with fast exposure. This camera can be paired with the MeltTools AI Edgewise solutions.
