Weld Monitoring

MeltView® PIXI camera

MeltView® PIXI with G Optics

The MeltView® PIXI welding camera in color is our choice when monitoring TIG and plasma welding. Whether the material is titanium, stainless steel or nickel based commonly found in the aerospace industry, the PIXI can be used for a close-up imaging in either a leading or trailing camera configuration. With a total diameter of only 30mm including integrated water cooling and lighting, the PIXI can be easily integrated to monitor 2-5mm wide welds in butt joints in thin sheet (as shown) or down narrow grooves. Rich color with our new "G optics" minimize any setup requirements compared with "C" style. The output is displayed directly on a monitor at the native 1920 x 1080 resolution.
